 Nathan John Feuerstein (born March 30 1991), known by his initials NF (stylized as IF), is an American rapper, singer as well as songwriter, record producer and songwriter. He has released two EPs, I'm Free (2012),[3] and a self-titled EP in 2014, with Capitol CMG. Mansion is his first major label album, debuted in March 2015. The second studio album Therapy Session came out on April 22nd, 2016. It was a top 12 album on the US Billboard 200. The albums have been awarded numerous awards which include the Gospel Music Association Dove Award in Rap/Hip Hop Album (Therapy Session). Perception the album released by NF in 2017, made it to the top spot in the United States, and was certified platinum. The third single, "Let You Go", reached number twelve in the United States. Billboard Hot 100, and was a top ten international hit. Similar commercial success was achieved by The Search (2019). Feuerstein claimed that Rap was his escape from the world of his youth. Feuerstein recorded songs with an singing machine. He recorded instrumentals and raps on one microphone. On the 29th of November of 2010, Feuerstein independently released his debut studio album Moments under his real name. On August 2, 2011 Feuerstein released his debut single "Alone". The track featured songwriter and producer Tommee Profitt and Brooke Griffith. Xist Music was attracted to Feuerstein's work in 2012. Feuerstein launched his first extended show I’m Free on May 2nd in 2012 and Profitt provided the production. The album's tracklist included nine songs including "Alone". The EP also featured an exclusive version of "Alone", featuring Sean Simmonds. Xist announced the release of the self-titled extended album, NF. However, Feuerstein separated from the label in the middle of a disagreement. Production of NF was subsequently delayed. Despite this, NF featured a song, "Only One", featuring Shuree Williams, on the label's compilation album, Move Vol 1. On November 4 2013 he dropped the single "Beautiful Addiction". Profitt returned to the track with vocals performed by Brady Schmitz (vocals) and Danielle Swift (vocals).
